AquaOps

Stock control for filters, membranes, chemicals and parts

Running out of a cartridge on the way to a job costs a trip. Stock in AquaOps is a record of every movement, so you can see what is on hand in each store and on each van and what needs ordering.

The problem

Nobody knows what is on the van

Stock is counted rarely and trusted less. Parts used on a job are forgotten on the invoice. A reorder happens after the shelf is empty.

Items, places and vans

Keep items with units, prices and reorder levels, in stores and on technicians' vans.

Stock from movements

On hand is the sum of receipts, issues and corrections. A mistake is reversed, never overwritten.

Low-stock alerts

The people who manage stock are told once when an item drops below its reorder level.

Parts on the job

A technician records the parts used. They come off stock and can be billed on the invoice.

Suppliers

Keep suppliers and preferred suppliers per item. Contact details are hidden from roles that should not see them.

Costs only for those who need them

Prices, costs and stock value are visible only to roles you allow.

How it works

Three steps

  1. 1

    Receive stock

    Record deliveries into a store.

  2. 2

    Move it

Transfer to a van or use it on a job.

  3. 3

    Reorder

A low-stock alert tells the right person.

Questions

About inventory and parts

Can stock go negative?

Not by default. A company can allow it in its settings.

Are parts used on the invoice?

Yes. Parts recorded on a job can be added to its invoice as lines, at the price you set.

Can a technician see costs?

Only if their role allows it. By default technicians see their own van and shared stores, not costs or suppliers.
